Is that legal here?

Things we've seen recently that probably only happen in Texas:

1. A minivan towing a small car hitched to another car

2. Hitchhiking

3. People riding around in truck beds.

Anyways, so far so good. We'll be glad when everything is in place and out of boxes! I've had pretty bad headaches the past few days, I'm not used to it being this hot ALLL of the time.

OH, our internet will finally be up on the 5th... /sigh. That was the only day that the people could come out when we knew we would be home. Then I'll be able to post more pictures and stuff :)   I'll be using the computer in our apartment "clubhouse" until then.

Jason starts work on monday and I'll be going in to my new store to find out what the deal is!

I would right more, but alas... my brains are hurty.

Safe in Austin...

Hello!
We made it to Austin around 10:30pm (Texas time) last night. I'm not sure when we're going to have internet access set up at our new apartment so I just wanted to let everyone know we're here and we're safe! Mom, Dad and Jessica Gourley all met up with us last night and stayed in the same hotel. We just finished eating breakfast and we're about to head over to the new place to start unpacking everything. If you need to get a hold of us in the next few days call our cell phones since we don't know when we'll be able to check email or anything. Love you!

New Mexico!

Hey everyone!
Quick update then we have to hit the road again. We packed up everything monday (THANK YOU SCOTT AND MELISSA!!!) Everything fit in the rental truck!
Monday night it was time for some final goodbye's...

Saying Goodbye to the "Granddaughter"

Yesterday... it was a loooooong drive. We left the house around 5:45 am, Sofiya actually did rather well in the car! She meowed a bit at first, but spent most of the time sleeping to cool off (thanks for the info mom!)

We stopped outside of Pheonix... for our last taste of In N Out... at least for a while that is. When the sun started setting I wished we could stop, but at that point all we wanted to do was get to the hotel.

We finally made it to the hotel at 9pm cali time, after about 15 hours of driving -_-
Our hotel was really nice, and breakfast here was yummie! We should be getting to Austin some time tonight (wed June 25th) Love you!

Unreal....

Even though we're packing everything up tonight, it still feels like I'm going to wake up tomorrow and go back to work at my Starbucks. This past week and weekend... totally insane. I barely had anytime to sleep we were so busy with goodbyes. I had to say goodbye to my entire family, including my 1 year old niece... that was pretty tough. We had a great time at Nate and Sarah's wedding this weekend. We rented a cabin with Jason's sister, her husband and their 3 girls... that was tons of fun the girls are adorable and growing so fast! It's hardest to know that we won't see all our nieces as often as we'd like. Ok picture blog time!!! Here's a bunch of people we got to hang out with and some other randomness....

At Nate's Wedding

Starting to say goodbye...

I didn't think I was going to cry that soon, but I did. Sitting there last night, with my family praying for us... I just couldn't hold it in. Thank you to everyone who was there. We're going to miss all of you so much. You have been "home" to me, and I'm going to miss that comfort.

We want to use this site so our friends and family can stay up to date on all that's going on with us.
